  1. I loved this book!!!! Sooooo much! I've read it....3 times and shall be reading it again when the TBR pile gets smaller!

    Now the smarty stuff:

One of my favorite things about Graceling is Po and Katsa's relationship.

I love that when they found out they were in love, they didn't start to ravage each other and throw their lives away and just not THINK. I like how they stepped out and thought about it for a while, giving each other space and time to make sure that it was something they truly wanted with their lives. Po never pressured Katsa to do anything and instead kept his distance until he knew she had made up her mind. I really admired that about their relationship.

Also, just Po in general. Lol. I really do like how humble yet cocky he could be. As a man, he wasn't afraid to admit that Katsa could beat him blind-folded and a bit scared to admit that he liked her with fear she'd throw him into a fire.

If I knew Katsa in real life, i'd be kinda scared of her too. LOL. But she's someone who was born to be a killer but still had a kind heart buried between all that emotional distance.

And I always remember the page I cried on. Yup, page 450. One line that Katsa says about beauty and I get all mushy. LOL.

  2. I LOVED this book too! I re-read it as soon as I finished it!
Po is now another one of my fave male leads - I love how humbled he is; and his patience with Katsa discovering things for herself was priceless!
I would never ever want to meet Katsa anywhere, lol! But it was amazing to see her grow up, find her girly side, but not go over board by losing herself into what everyone thinks a girl should become!
    Thanks for the recommendation!

Oh! and I read Fire too! Twice! and loved it more! I can't wait to read the next one! I think Bitterblue is going to knock these two out! ;)

    hugs, margie

PSS - Have you guys done a review on Shiver/Linger? Going to look around... I'm halfway thru with Linger - Sam is my new Edward fix ;) Thanks!!!
