Tis the night before Christmas, and here on the blog

We are both reminiscing, 'bout a vampire and a dog.

Fun started with Twilight (Team Edward! Team Emmett!),

Soon moved on to discussions of Elizabeth Bennet.

How happy it made both Stacie and me (Leigh),

To discuss our book boyfriends over coffee and tea.

Snuggled up in our PJs, kids distracted or sleeping,

We tossed around book titles worthy of keeping.

When one day it struck us – we could share the book names!

Surely one or two people would feel just the same!

So we wrote a little post, introducing the thought,

And fingers crossed went about claiming our internet spot.

When, what to our wondering eyes should appear,

But followers and commenters, starting an amazing year!

Not content with the banter between just us two,

We harassed our smart female friends to help entertain you.

Soon we had Cher, Sophie, and Dusty on board,

Bribed with pictures of BinBons, Official Hot Boy With Sword.

We discussed serious topics, and books titled “Hex”,

Unsurprised that the most popular posts involved YA sex.

How we all swooned over Jace, Archer, and Ash,

And cheered for the heroines that could kick our ass.

So here we are, at Christmas - it's been a great year number one,

Here's to many more years that are just as much fun!
