Whimsical Women

Hi everyone! What can I tell you about me that you don't already know? I'm a mom. I'm a snarky wordsmith. I'm a shoe h00r and a twitter addict. I raise my eyebrow in disbelief a lot. I mock constantly. I would sell my kidneys to have half of the talent in Neil Gaiman's pinky. Pitch me a story with some sort of space exploration and I'm totally there. I'm another one of those gals who says "Twilight inspired me to write!" And as cliche as that sounds, it's totally true. I started writing in the wonderful and educational world of fanfiction and am currently working on my first YA manuscript. If I ever get published (ha!) you can all say "I knew her when..." ;) Twilight also introduced me to a giant community with some hysterical women, one of whom I'm now blogging with. *waves at Stacie*

*waves over at Leigh* Okay, so I am a self-confessed book whore. I will read pretty much anything, and if I really like something, I will read it more than once. I've read almost every genre, but I'm currently addicted to YA fiction. I mainly enjoy books that have an element of the supernatural - you know, vampires, werewolves, shadowhunters - that type of thing. Aside from reading, I'm a mom who regularly needs drinks wine, a wife who can't cook or clean very well, and sometimes I try to get crafty.

You all should know, I don't do Book Reviews, I do Recommendations. Mainly because I am soft-hearted and hate to say something bad about a book. So, if you see a book recommended here, it's because I loved it (or Leigh loved it - she does recs too). Oh, and also? I really suck at titles. I think everyone should know this because it's true. I hate them.
